What a staffed jersey printing station includes
A line-by-line look at what arrives, who runs it, and what the guest experience looks like from the moment they join the queue.
The core build
Equipment & crewThe centre of the station is a set of press lanes. Each lane is one heat press with one trained operator, and the number of lanes is the main dial we turn when your guest count moves. Two lanes suits a reception or a mid-size booth. Four is a busy activation. Beyond that we build wider and staff deeper.
Around the presses sits everything that makes a lane usable: an intake counter with tablets, a staging surface for folded blanks, a heat-safe handoff area, waste bins for backing film, and signage that tells a guest in three lines what is about to happen. The crew works in matching shirts so guests know who to ask, and one lead runs the board rather than pressing.
Application method, and why it matters to you
Names and numbers go on with full-colour DTF transfers and a heat press. That is the honest answer to "how do you do it," and the reason is fabric. Modern jerseys are cut from slick, textured or mesh polyester, and that surface defeats a lot of decoration methods. Pressed transfers sit down on it cleanly, in full colour, without a curing tunnel or a screen setup between every guest.
Twill and tackle-twill lettering and embroidery are both available when a heritage look is the point — a throwback jersey or an alumni piece, for example. Those are slower per unit, so they belong on a pre-produced batch or a low-volume VIP tier rather than on a live queue that has to clear four hundred people.
The guest path, in three beats
Experience designPersonalize it
The guest picks a size and colour, then types a name and number at a tablet station. Their entry becomes a numbered ticket in the queue. Names run to about nine characters before letter spacing starts fighting the jersey back; the tablet enforces it so nobody gets bad news at the counter.
Get it pressed
The ticket routes to whichever lane has the least pending work. An operator lays the transfer, presses it, and peels. The guest watches it happen, which is most of the entertainment value and all of the trust.
Wear it out
The jersey is handed back finished and game-ready. No shipping form, no "come back at four." For premium tiers we can text a guest when theirs is ready so they spend the wait at your bar instead of in your line.
Garments: ours or yours
SourcingWe source blank jerseys and manage sizing, or we decorate garments you already own. Both are normal. Teams, leagues and internal clubs frequently have a stock of kit sitting in a storage room that only needs names and numbers — bringing it to us is usually the cheapest version of this project.
When we source, Augusta Sportswear and Badger are the workhorses for blank jerseys. If the brief drifts toward tees, caps or bags, the same crew handles Bella+Canvas 3001 and Gildan tees, and Richardson 112 or Flexfit caps.
Sizing without the disappointment
Guest-facing events run adult XS–3XL. Inventory can be capped per size, so when a size sells out it disappears from the guest's picker instead of being promised and then denied at the press. That single setting removes most of the friction from a busy hour.
Per-event options we configure with you: garment colour, print location (back, front or sleeve), and a short menu of design choices. Short is deliberate. A guest facing thirty decisions slows the lane behind them; three good choices feels generous and moves fast.
